JUPITER

The rings of jupiter
Jupiter is the largest, most massive planet in the solar system. Its rapid rate of rotation in 9 hours 55 minutes causes hte clouds in its atmosphere to form dark, low-altitude 'belts' and bright, high-altitude 'zones' - both with huge storm systems-witch encircle the planet parallel with the equator. Juipiter has two faint rings, and is orbited by 16 known moons, of which Ganymede, Callisto, Io, and Europe (the Gailleans) are the largest.
