The Egyptian pyramid were funerary monuments built for the kings(Pharaohs), and for their closest relatives. A characteristic feature of all classical Egyptian pyramids is a temple complex, comprising a valley temple at a short distance from the pyramid and connected by a causeway, and a mortuary temple situated adjacent to the pyramid.
